Letter from Chairman
 Welcome to the Greenwood Cemetery Association Web Site. I am Bernard Stoecklein, Chairman of CMS Mid-Atlantic, Inc., which is the parent company that manages this non-sectarian cemetery. With its carefully manicured grounds and beautiful magnolias and flowering trees, Greenwood has numerous impressive monuments that tell the stories of those individuals buried there. We have many plans for the future, including expanding the veterans’ section, building a new mausoleum and continuing with our ongoing park beautification project.
Having worked in the cemetery industry all my life, I have developed a strong passion for it. No other business or endeavor has such a long-lasting impact on the individuals it serves or the community in which it resides. At Greenwood Cemetery, we honor and pay respect to our fellow man daily; we offer emotional support to those experiencing loss and grief; and, perhaps most importantly, we protect and preserve memories for future generations.
Recognizing the important role we play as caretakers of history, we strive to provide a high level of personal attention and compassion to those who have entrusted us with their family’s eternal memory and perpetual care.
